1. Send a free question wheel
About 1 minute; a phone and an existing chat. Write a question about an ordinary choice: “Are you choosing the playlist?” Use YES and NO, select YES and send the friend link. After they spin, reveal that you chose the result and invite them to make a reply. No download, account or purchase is needed.
2. Make an extremely small award
About 2 minutes; scrap paper and a pen. Fold scrap paper into a card and write an award for a friendly habit: “Most Reliable Finder of the Last Biscuit”. Add one sincere sentence inside. Hand it over privately so the joke comes with something kind rather than a public performance.
3. Reuse a box for an exaggerated reveal
About 3 minutes; two or three clean reusable boxes and a note. Put a friendly note in a clean box you already have, then use one or two more reusable layers. Write short clues on the outside. Do not add plastic confetti or make the recipient clean up; you take the boxes away after the reveal.
4. Give your own things a silly label
About 1 minute; paper, a pen and your own mug or tin. Label your own mug “Emergency Thinking Equipment” or your own snack tin “Biscuit Research Centre”. Invite a friend to notice the sign. Nothing is hidden, moved or changed on their behalf, and cleanup is removing a piece of paper.
5. Create a three-clue miniature hunt
About 3 minutes; three notes and a pen. Use three notes in a shared space you can use. End with a message like “You have won the right to choose the next song”. Keep the route obvious and the prize optional. If your friend is busy, show them the final note instead.
Keep it free for the recipient, too
A no-cost prank should not quietly turn into a bill, a chore or a demand to share contacts. Avoid paywalls, premium-rate calls and surprise deliveries. If your wheel asks who buys dinner, make clear that it is a joke and nobody owes anything because of the result.
Use your usual chat instead of signing someone up for a service. If you add a photo, choose one you have permission to share. Keep the private edit link so you can remove the photo or delete your own wheel when the joke has had its moment.
A few questions, answered
Are BlameFate wheels free?
Yes. Creating, sharing and spinning a wheel are free. The optional shop suggestions after a result are not required to use the app.
What works without printing anything?
Use a handwritten note, a message in your existing chat or an online wheel. You can make the whole setup with a phone and a question.
